Squad and roles

Squad, staff and roles in one group

You set up the team as a group, with roles such as athlete, coach, physiotherapist, manager or assistant. The group page brings together members, training plans, tests and competitions, plus a group chat. Roles only describe who does what; which data someone sees is decided by each player through explicit permissions they can revoke at any time.

With the Team subscription the club books Pro slots for the coaching staff and Basic slots for the players and invites everyone by email. You send a program to up to 20 players, the same for everyone or with individual values, for example as an extra session for players with little playing time or as an adapted session after an injury.

  • Seven roles, from athlete and coach to physiotherapist and viewer
  • Add a whole group at once in the selection window
  • From 1 to 10 Pro slots and 3 to 50 Basic slots

Training week and match day

Football training planning around match day

You enter matches as competitions, with location, level, priority and the match result type: score plus win, draw or loss, as one shared team result. For 11-a-side football, defaults such as 2 × 45 minutes and 11 players are already stored. The microcycle then shows match, sessions and absences in the same week.

Where strength and speed work go in a week with a midweek fixture is your call; Tletify shows you what is already planned. You copy a good week into the next one, with progression in kg or percent if you like. Training camps in summer and winter preseason sit in the calendar as all-day entries, and a calendar subscription brings sessions, matches and tests into Google, Apple or Outlook.

  • Matches with score and win, draw or loss
  • Overlapping sessions for the same player are rejected
  • Weekly plan as PDF and CSV (for Excel)

Daily check and load

Daily check and load for the whole squad at a glance

In the daily check players answer four questions on a scale from 1 to 5: sleep quality, energy level, muscle soreness and mood, with a pain report if needed. The app sends one reminder a day from 10 a.m. You see the values only with the player's permission, on the daily check page with a team overview and trends. A missing check stays a gap and never counts as 0.

Tletify calculates load with the sRPE method: duration of the completed session in minutes times RPE on a scale from 0 to 10. A 90-minute session at RPE 6 gives 540 AU. From this come the acute:chronic workload ratio (ACWR), monotony and strain, which only you as the coach see. With fewer than 8 completed sessions in 28 days, Tletify shows “not enough data”. More on training load management.

  • Log pitch sessions with their duration so they count
  • Watch data via Apple Health and Health Connect in the app
  • Load reduction only as a suggestion, never automatic

Performance tests

Preseason testing: endurance, sprint, jump and agility

The test catalog with around 150 tests includes many that are common in football: Yo-Yo IR1 and IR2, 30-15 IFT, Bronco and beep test for endurance, sprints from 5 m upward, flying sprints, countermovement jump and agility tests such as 505, 5-10-5, T-test, Illinois and Arrowhead.

A test session brings several tests and the whole squad together under one title; results appear as a ranking, and each player sees only their own values. You import timing gate results as a file. With the player's permission you see in their body profile how their bests develop across the season.

  • Create your own tests when one is missing
  • Record wind, temperature and location for each test
  • Maximal tests locked for players under 16

Questions and answers

Does Tletify plan tactics and ball drills too?

No. Tletify is built for athletic preparation: strength, speed, endurance, mobility, testing and load. The exercise library does not contain football-specific technique or tactics drills. You can create your own exercises, but you keep planning tactics and ball drills with the tools you already use.

Does Tletify record GPS data or analyze matches?

No. There is no connection to GPS vests and no match analysis. Load comes from the duration and RPE of completed sessions. Watch data such as resting heart rate, heart rate variability and sleep reach the app through Apple Health or Health Connect; you upload FIT and GPX files on your computer with Pro.

Do players see their load metrics?

No. ACWR, monotony, strain and the form curve are visible only to coaches on Pro or Team, and only with the player's permission. Players see their own readiness, daily check values and daily check streak on their dashboard. Read more about the daily readiness check.

How do I document injuries and the return to training?

In the body profile you record an injury with date, status, restricted risk zones and documents. You structure the return to training in five stages; only someone allowed to edit the player's body profile, such as a coach or physiotherapist, can clear the next stage. Tletify documents; it does not replace a medical assessment.

What does Tletify cost for a team?

The Team subscription holds Pro slots for the coaching staff and Basic slots for the players; the smallest team, with 1 Pro and 3 Basic slots, costs €93 per month, and the more slots of one kind, the lower the price per slot. The public launch is on 1 January 2027, and from then you can try it free for 30 days. Until then there is the waitlist.
